Morellana Hojiblanca has a mild, fruity flavour of green olives with great complexity and harmony. It also has herbaceous notes of freshly mown hay and wild grass, with green banana and green almond standing out with their intensity. The palate is rather mild, with a hint of olive leaf in the foreground. At the back, there is hardly any bitterness and a slight, pleasant spiciness, characteristic of the Hojiblanca variety.

The producer: Morellana is the brand name of the producer, Sucesores de Hermanos López. This olive oil mill has been in existence for more than a century and a half and is located in the town of Luque (Córdoba). This brand, in turn, takes its name from the estate where the olives from which this juice is extracted are harvested: La Laguna del Salobral or del Conde.
In addition to this brand, they also produce and market Morellana, a brand of single-variety olive oils with which they have won numerous competitions.
Flavour: Medium sharpness, no bitterness, very fresh and grassy.
Ideally suited for salads, vegetables and hot and cold dishes, a very versatile all-round oil that goes well with fish, chicken, all types of vegetables and even mature cheeses.
