With its deep ruby red color and intense aromas of ripe berries, vanilla and roasted nuts, this wine is a delight across the board. 

Venta del Puerto No. 12 reflects the diversity, complexity and richness of the geography around Valencia. This premium wine consists of a cuvée (coupage) of four varieties that give the wine structure, strength and character. A 12-month ageing period in new American oak barrels, followed by a 6-month ageing period in the bottle, rounds off the expressiveness of the terroir.

Grape varieties: 40% Tempranillo, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 10% Syrah, hand-picked

Ageing: At least 12 months in new American oak barrels plus 6 months in the bottle.

Description: Wine with plenty of body and fruit. Excellent with jamon Iberico, salty and spicy dishes. Very good single drinker.

Appearance: At first sight - Clean and transparent wine with high color intensity, dark cherry red color, without showing evolutionary tones. 

Aroma: Complex aroma, with prominent notes of ripe black fruit (blackberries and currants) and a fruity sweetness reminiscent of liqueur. Swirling the glass enhances the aromas of black and red fruits and brings out certain toasted aromas. Without a doubt, this is a complex wine, very fruity and with an adequate barrique aroma. 

Final note: Powerful, long aftertaste, complex and fruity. All in all, an extremely pleasant mouthfeel.
