Description: For this French Pastis, the family's cellar master drew inspiration from the know-how, terroir and specific climate of the region. The Charente, its oceanic climate, mild and sunny, is reflected on the base of star anise.

An excellent elegance on the nose with an initial aniseed note, which is then replaced by aromas of fennel, liquorice, thyme and light spices. Open and balanced on the palate, good intensity with great aromatic persistence.

The producer: Distilerie des Moisans. The family business Moisans was founded by Monsieur Roland BRU in the 60s. It all started with the purchase of the first vineyards. He followed in the footsteps of his father-in-law Georges Guimard, who came from a large family from Angoumoisine. Today, his daughter Véronique Legaret and his grandson Roland, assisted by Olivier Petit, have taken over the management of this beautiful house.

The estate extends over 60 hectares in Fins Bois and Petite Champagne. This region of the AOC Cognac is particularly known for the full-bodiedness of the eaux-de-vie produced there. The ageing cellars are either buried in the ground or built on the hillside.
