With its brilliant colour, a deep ruby red, the Perpetus Rouge 2019 reaches us with a powerful and energetic aroma on the nose. Aromas of red fruits, but also of violets emerge. On the palate, it delivers notes of ripe black fruits, an almost animal side with flavours of musk, undergrowth and even truffle.

This excellent French from Provence goes wonderfully with red meat (beef and lamb), goulash, bull stew or even cheeses with character. It is advisable to open this magnificent drop for decanting a few hours before tasting.

Description: This Luberon red wine is an excellent representative of the AOC Vins du Luberon. It is round in the mouth, fruity and full-bodied. Hints of ripe red berries (blackcurrants, blackberries, raspberries...). In sum, a different kind of red wine from France.  With a very complex structure, this red wine flirts with the spicy notes (pepper), but always shows elegance and freshness in the mouth, which are the typical characteristics of the AOC Luberon.

Serving suggestions: The perfect accompaniment to meat in sauce, as well as grilled meats. After 4 - 5 years of ageing also a nice single drinker to enjoy. The wine should be drunk at a temperature between 16°C - 18°C.

The winery: The Domaine les Perpetus in the south of Provence has been run by the Michel family for several generations. The roots go back to the 18th century. The love for the "terroir", for nature and the firm conviction that only healthy soil produces healthy fruit led the current owner, Madame Claire Michel, to convert the entire domaine to organic farming in 2008.
