It may rightly be called one of the greatest culinary inventions since vinegar has existed. In 1984, Apple Balsamic Vinegar was created by Alois Gölles as the first balsamic vinegar made from apples.

For Gölles Apple Balsamic Vinegar, the must of fresh, juicy Styrian apple varieties is boiled down and fermented twice. It then matures in oak barrels for at least 8 years until the perfect harmony of taste is achieved. The noble sour preciousness is a versatile wort.

GÖLLES - the company - the manufactory: For more than 30 years, the Gölles family has been cultivating its orchards in the southeastern Styrian volcanic region around the historic Riegersburg Castle. For the production of fine vinegars, noble brandies and delicate oil, only the best, cleanest and ripest fruits are cultivated.
