Olive wood belongs to the precious woods and is very well suited for this kind of use due to its resistance and water-repellent properties. However, it should be oiled with a little olive oil every now and then. This way it keeps its beautiful appearance and does not dry out.

We recommend that you follow these simple care instructions:

Never put in the dishwasher 
Always clean by hand with a cloth or soft sponge and a little washing-up liquid in lukewarm water.
Caution: Hot water can crack the olive wood
Do not allow to drip, but wipe dry immediately with a cloth
Rub carefully with a paper towel soaked in olive oil

Origin and production: The olive wood for the products we offer comes from the European Mediterranean region and North Africa. Some of the finished olive wood products are imported directly from Spain, Greece and Tunisia. Another part (approx. 50%) is produced in the olive wood manufactory in Germany. This is also a purely handcrafted production.
