Our travertine comes from a Turkish manufactory in Troy. The colors vary naturally from piece to piece - each natural stone is unique.
Cork on the underside protects against scratches and slipping.
The stone slabs are tumbled. This elaborate surface treatment ensures the rounded, slightly irregular edges and the Mediterranean, antique flair. Individual pieces can also be particularly rustic. This is not a defect, but a result of the natural structure of the individual stone.
