Description: Concentrated bouquet, ripe plum, some leather, flavoured with Mediterranean herbs, opulent on the palate with beautiful balance, powerful structure, yet fresh and animating. The "small" Tossals is also great fun when drunk very young. 

The wine combines the Cariñena and Garnacha Negra grape varieties, giving it a noble personality. It is powerful, velvety and deep on the palate. Its long finish leaves the connoisseur under the spell of this exceptional red wine time and time again.

Vinification: Maceration for 8 days, alcoholic fermentation in 10,000 litre stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. Afterwards storage.

The winery: The Grifoll Declara winery is a family winery that has existed for five generations. From historical documents of the Grifoll family, we know that the ancestors were already cultivating vineyards for their own use in 1736. Today, these vineyards are united with 72 plots, which are cultivated by the fifth generation according to organic and traditional viticulture, taking over the knowledge of the ancestors and combining it with new technologies.

Since the 2001 vintage and the inclusion of the bodega in the DO Monsant (protected designation of origin), the winery has consistently achieved top rankings in the most prestigious international wine magazines.
