For generations, the Ardissones family lives in Diano San Pietro, a small village in Liguria.

After decades of olive cultivation and the production of olive oil, the cultivation of basilica was discovered about 30 years ago and the first greenhouses were opened. To obtain delicate and highly aromatic basil leaves,
the cultivation takes place exclusively in the summer. Ca 'Messighi is also dedicated to the production of first-class pestos.
