The manufacturer: ARMAKADI P.C. is a family business that produces excellent extra virgin olive oil. Since 1917, the generational company Armakadi from Greece, more precisely from South Peloponnese, is all about the olive. They have specialized in the Koroneiki olive. This variety not only tastes excellent, its trees are extremely robust and thrive despite adverse conditions.
The name comes from the area Armakadia, which is near Filiatra Messinias -South Peloponnese-, where the olive groves are located. The history with olive oil production began in 1917, when the great-grandfather, Athanassios Nikolopoulos, a particularly active man, started cultivating the first olive trees of the family. His goal was to provide his family with enough oil, but also to sell the surplus to the local market.
With limited resources and labor but with passion and great dedication, the production improved year after year.
The many years of experience combined with the personal involvement during all stages of production, from cultivation to final delivery, are a guarantee of the highest quality products.
