For us, one of the best olive oils in Spain. Awarded the GOLD medal in the BIOL olive oil test. A Spanish olive oil that receives such an award in Italy must be good.

Producer: This pure organic Arbequina oil, certified origin DOP "Aceite de la Rioja", is produced in the small family business of "hermanos catalan". The dedication to quality and accuracy of production are unique. This results in an exceptional stability of the oil.

Each step of production is meticulously observed and controlled to meet the highest gourmet standards. The result is one of the best Arbequina oils in Spain, awarded several times and recognized by jurors. Proof of the unique freshness is the extremely low peroxide value. Absolutely top class.

Even the smell of this oil is a delight, with light notes of marzipan, almonds and apple.

Taste: slightly fruity, very soft and mild, very little sharpness. 

Best suited: for salads and cold dishes, as well as sauces and fish dishes. Also excellent as an olive oil dip or as olive oil for frying.

Our secret tip: prepare cakes and desserts with the gentle Arbequina oil.
