Description: Straw yellow colour with greenish reflections, very bright. Open aroma, with fruity intensity. Floral background with citrus notes. Good structure on the palate, balanced acidity and very tasty. Fresh and expressive, balanced, with good volume. Long and elegant.

The Verdejo grape variety has been native to DO area of Rueda for centuries. Some claim that it could date back to the 11th century, coinciding with the reign of Alfonso VI.
At that time, there were already human settlements in the Duero catchment area. Cantabrians, Basques and Mozarabians. It was the latter who brought the Verdejo variety from North Africa or from earlier settlements in the south of Spain.

The Verdejo grape produces very aromatic, fruity, full-bodied and soft wines with good acidity and a very characteristic fruit. 

The bouquet is overflowing but not intrusive, with aromas of gooseberries and kiwis. On the palate, the fruit of ripe gooseberries and vineyard peaches is convincing with mineral nuances in the background. In the finish it shows a perfect harmony.

PRODUCTION : The grapes are harvested at night, using traditional techniques and the most modern machinery to respect the characteristics of the Verdejo grape variety and thus preserve the quality of the wine. 

The grapes are placed in the winery's hoppers as they are unloaded. Before pressing and the start of alcoholic fermentation, a skin maceration of several hours is carried out. Fermentation took place slowly in stainless steel tanks at a maximum temperature of 17º.
